Managing Employee Performance and Conduct

27 January 2016     9:30am to 5.00pm    Melbourne

Managing performance is often a challenge and knowing how to do it well is a skill worth having. While processes can be confronting and uncomfortable, it is important to address employee conduct and performance issues early, so as to prevent them from escalating into a messy, time-consuming and costly dispute.

In this environment, the way in which you manage employee performance and conduct is critical. This training will assist in development of managing skills, leadership and provide the resources and tools to deal with these difficult situations practically and with reference to the latest legal framework

The law with respect to handling employee performance and conduct is increasingly complex and disgruntled employees are taking every advantage of the protections they are afforded under the Fair Work Act. This training session will aid in development of managerial skills, and provide the resources to deal with these difficult situations both practically and with reference to the regulatory framework. We provide all attendees with a comprehensive folder of materials, which includes template scripts to follow when conducting disciplinary meetings and sample letters to provide employees when imposing disciplinary sanctions. The session is interactive and includes a number of case studies and role plays that are designed to build skills and confidence.

What will the training cover?
